Hair Growth Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Flaxseeds (1 tablespoon): Flaxseeds are a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which can help prevent a dry, scaly scalp and nourish your hair.
  • Walnuts (1/4 cup): Walnuts are not only a good source of protein but also contain biotin, B vitamins (B1, B6, and B9), Vitamin E, plenty of protein, and magnesium – all of which strengthen hair cuticles and nourish the scalp.
  • Berries (1/2 cup): Strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries are loaded with beneficial antioxidants and vitamin C, aiding in collagen production and iron absorption, two factors that promote hair growth.
  • Avocado (1/2 fruit): High in healthy fats, avocados offer Vitamin E which is known to promote hair growth and help prevent hair loss.
  • Greek Yogurt (1/2 cup): It's high in protein, essential for hair growth, and also has an important role in providing scalp health through its vitamin B5 content.
  • Almond Milk (1 cup): As a base, almond milk provides vitamin E and healthy fats, promoting hair growth without adding excess calories.

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash the spinach or kale leaves. Measure out the rest of the ingredients. If using frozen berries, there's no need to thaw them as they'll help make the smoothie refreshingly cold.

  2. Blend the Greens First: To ensure a smooth texture, blend the spinach or kale with almond milk first until no chunks are visible.

  3. Add the Rest: Add the flaxseeds, walnuts, berries, chopped avocado, and Greek yogurt to the blender.
